Tokyo based Olympus Corp have been revolutionary in both camera design and technological innovation. Yoshihisa Maitani is widely considered the originator of the modern compact camera with his design of the Olympus XA range in 1979. Since then Olympus has balanced incredible image quality with truly visionary design features.
